Weight Loss - Research
Below is a synopsis of a research study done using natural ingredients that produced significant weight loss including one individual who lost an amazing 145 pounds while continuing on the supplement regimen combined with a caloric restricted diet. This study is a prime example of the hundreds of similar studies conducted over the years that have proven over and over again how effective certain natural ingredients are at promoting weight loss.
"A study published in 1993 in the International Journal of Obesity and Related Metabolic Disorders that used a mixture of Ephedrine, Caffeine and Aspirin (ECA) showed some pretty amazing results. In the study, obese individuals were given a mixture of Ephedrine, Caffeine and Aspirin as follows: 75-150 mg Ephedrine, 150 mg Caffeine and 330 mg Aspirin. Diet was not restricted in this study so the individuals were allowed to eat normally. After eight weeks the group treated with the ECA mixture lost 5 lbs verses 1.5 lbs in the placebo group. Five months later eight of the individuals in the placebo group were given the ECA mixture for eight weeks and they lost an average of 7 lbs versus 3 lbs for those in the placebo group. Six individuals continued to use the ECA mixture for another seven to twenty-six months.
After five months the average weight loss in five of the six individuals was 11.5 lbs verses a slight gain in the placebo group. The sixth individual lost an astounding 145 lbs over thirteen months while using the ECA mixture along with a self imposed caloric restricted diet. The results of this study show convincingly that a mixture of Ephedrine, Caffeine and Aspirin increases weightloss well beyond what can be obtained without the use of these ingredients."1
